Aloha Nancy,

First off, please note that I am not in a position to give any type of legal advice, so I can merely make suggestions and you will need to do some research on your own to make the best decision for yourself. I can tell you that Hawaii does not recognize other state's medical marijuana cards so it would be illegal to travel to Hawaii with your medication. If you want to obtain a Hawaii medical marijuana card, you could consider contacting a place like http://www.medicalmarijuanaofhawaii.org/ to inquire about the process. You should also keep in mind that Hawaii does not have dispensaries. Do your research and good luck!

I am permitted to use medical marijuana in California. I will be traveling to Maui early November 2011 and am inquiring what the procedure is to be able to either travel with my medication or obtain a Hawaiian
card. Please advise. Mahalo and Aloha
